New Year's Eve

The New Year’s Eve jam is an opportunity to celebrate the passage from 2013 to 2014 together and to let our five senses guide us throughout. The evening will start with a welcoming and joyful contact improvisation jam open to all, building up to performances, a playful buffet and plenty more opportunities for dancing, playing, creating and socialising. Expect surprises! Or maybe don’t expect anything and be open to whatever the night holds…

Indicative lay out of the event:

7 - 7.15 pm Arrival
7.15 - 9.15 pm Warm-up games and jamming
9.15 - 10.15 pm Performance circle
10.15 - 11.15 pm Dinner
11.15 - 12 Back to dancing
Midnight countdown – “Glow” Jam
12 o'clock onwards – more dancing, playing, singing, eating, making, partying

Musicians Pete Yelding and Roddy Skeaping, and DJ Naomi will delight us with their sound.

Please arrive for the warm-up if possible, but then you’re free to drop in and out at any time: small snacks will be available throughout the evening & we’ll have a soft rest area for grown-ups + play-tents for children.

Everyone will be given a glow bracelet on arrival, with extra glow items available to buy if wanted.

Please bring with you:

food and drink to share,
musical instruments
cushions and blankets for our soft area

Clothing is left to your own devices. In case of doubt we recommend something comfortable, easy to move in and not too fragile, that will make you shine.

Looking forward to dancing with you!
